12/1/2019 – Haggai

God calling us to great things and giving us a purpose. We start off excited but then life happens and we get tired of running the marathon. We forget that life is not a sprint but a marathon. We stop persevering. Eventually we lose focus of God’s Kingdom and only focus on building our own kingdoms. In this series we are going to look at the lessons we can learn from their experiences and see how our hope is restored through faithfulness to God.

10/27/2019 – Down to Earth

Temptations surround all of our lives. They are strong because they play directly on our desire to be spectacular and successful. But when we are able to recognize these temptations as attempts to cling to the illusions of the false self, they can become instead invitations to claim our true self, which is hidden in God alone. We do not belong to the world. We belong to God. We always will be tempted in one way or another to reclaim the old self, But we become true followers of Jesus Christ each time resist the devil and draw closer to God. Join us as we look at how Jesus came down to earth and illustrated these very principles to us.

9/29/2019 – Ruth

Many times in our lives we feel that God is absent at best or maybe even punishing us at worst. We ask questions like “God where are you” and “God do you even care about what I’m facing?” Could it be that God is at work even though we don’t see him, or the answers to your prayers may not come the way you think they should. In this series we are going to look at a story of people who wrestled with the same issues and discover how God may be closer than you think.
